The Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans honors the achievements and contributions of outstanding business, civic, and cultural leaders who have succeeded despite facing significant adversity and who are committed to philanthropy and higher education. The Award symbolizes the Association’s values, including integrity, hard work, perseverance, and compassion for others.

Mr. Harrington, Chairman of BioMotiv and The Harrington Project, joins 12 other accomplished leaders from across North America in receiving this honor in 2016.
