Dr. Christa Pawlowski has over 9 years of research experience related to drug development and biomaterials. Her main focus has been the development of nanoparticle-based technologies for multiple therapeutic indications including cardiovascular disorders, inflammation, immune response and cancer. Her work has been published in more than 15 research and review articles and has been presented at numerous international conferences. Christa also holds several patents. Prior to joining BioMotiv, Christa was a Postdoctoral Scholar at Case Western Reserve University and co-founder of Haima Therapeutics, LLC, a biotechnology company focused on the translation and commercialization a novel synthetic platelet nanotechnology for the treatment of hemorrhage after traumatic injury. She successfully managed the early stages of the company’s technology and business development.

Christa completed her B.S.E. and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University and was the recipient of an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, a Medtronic Graduate Fellowship and a Baxter Young Investigator Award.
