Stacie S. Switzer has over 20 years of experience in the life sciences space. Her areas of expertise include legal support of all phases of research and development of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and device products. Prior to joining BioMotiv, Ms. Switzer served as counsel for a variety of emerging biotech companies. In addition, she spent 8 years at Takeda Pharmaceuticals U.S., most recently in the capacity of Assistant General Counsel. Ms. Switzer also served as a Senior Contracts and Grants Officer at Northwestern University in the Office of the Vice President for Research.
Ms. Switzer earned her JD from Capital University Law School and studied genetics law and European Union law at the University of Glasgow’s School of Law in Scotland. In addition to her legal background, Ms. Switzer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from The Ohio State University and served as a research associate at a Northwestern University affiliate studying transplant reject theory.
Ms. Switzer is admitted to practice in the States of Ohio and Illinois.
